V for Victory!!!

That's how I say my name as people often hear it wrong... but this article is not about my name!!

It is about the whooping victory that INDIA had in Australia!

Leadership is about making right judgements even if it means taking risks and Dhoni proved this! His decisions were criticised by almost everyone but he sure did prove everyone wrong.

I used to hate cricket but a gripping game like this always a pleasure to watch especially after the controversies. The Australian team could have had a better face to show after the loss if they had not made those remarks about the players in particular and the team. But on the brighter side its those controversies that made the game more interesting!

THREE CHEERS TO THE INDIAN TEAM...

It just goes to prove that the Indian young blood has a will and the determination to prove to the world that they are going ahead and this is just the beginning and when they get going they will put up a tough fight!

I am proud of the Indian team... since the beginning of this series they have made sure they stand for their team... I loved it when the team decided to back out if Bhajji was penalised! Wrong usage of power... I THINK NOT! Like its said 'if you have it, flaunt it!'

I am sure all Indians including me are hoping that the leadership of a person like Dhoni continues and the Indian cricket carves out a new and better position for itself in world cricket.

  1. i am also equally if not more excited and happy that the Indian team won..and congrats to dhoni on the victory but i still feel that he and the selectors have set a bad precedent and this will serve as evidence to further that bad precedence that one chooses youth over performance. I think performance should be the determining factor and not age. If you can perform and perform well at 40 then you should still be in the team.
I can sort of understand Dravid's exclusion but not Ganguly who was performing much better than yuvraj...it should always be about performance not age,not youth!!!

  2. i think youth also matters to a large extent... yuvraj was a bad bet i agree... but wat matters is we won due to blod decisions... may be ganguly could have helped us sail better but its a risk!

BTW you know wats the funny part... the oz websites have a scoop on yuvraj's bad performance... they feel that it is because of his break up with deepika & her new affair with ranbeer... well well well... wen i saw this i was not sure if i was reading a oz news website or bombay times / mid day!
